Samsung 8K TVs

Image
We've barely started the switch to 4K, and now  8K TVs  are already on the market. Are they worth it? Should you care? Here's everything you . . While Samsung hasn’t announced a completely new range of 8K TVs at the 2019 CES in Las Vegas, it has revealed that it is going to be greatly expanding the number of the Q900R 8K series available to buy in the US. At the time of writing, the US only has a single Samsung Q900R 8K model on the market: . Samsung is going to be adding no less than four extra screen sizes for 2019, however - including a 65-inch set that will make 8K available to a much wider audience than the $15,000 85-inch model. The new sizes (two of which have been available in Europe for some time) are 98 inches, 82 inches, 75 inches and 65 inches. Samsung could technically go smaller than 65 inches, but tells me that its research suggests that the impact of 8K resolution only really kicks in at 65 inches or more.

Top Technology Trends for 2019 and the Jobs They’ll Create

Image
Technology is now evolving at such a rapid pace that annual predictions of trends can seem out-of-date before they even go live as a published blog post or article. As technology evolves, it enables even faster change and progress, causing the acceleration of the rate of change, until eventually it will become exponential.    1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Artificial Intelligence, or AI, has already received a lot of buzz in recent years, but it continues to be a trend to watch because its effects on how we live, work and play are only in the early stages. In addition, other branches of AI have developed, including Machine Learning, which we will go into below. AI refers to computers systems built to mimic human intelligence and perform tasks such as recognition of images, speech or patterns and decision making. AI can do these tasks faster and more accurately than humans. 2. Machine Learning Machine Learning is a subset of AI. With Machine Learning, computers are p...

Safety Concerns With Carbon Fiber Bicycles . The New Metal Threatening Carbon Fiber Bike Frames.

Georgia is home to some of the most magnificent landscapes in the United States, and everyday bicycle enthusiasts and racers take to the streets and  bike paths  to enjoy the incredible scenery. Some of the  cyclists  riding these paths are using a technology that has been gaining popularity – carbon fiber. While carbon fiber has many benefits, it also has a serious drawback. The issue is carbon fiber can fracture, which can lead to serious injury. To be clear not all carbon fiber components are inherently defective, however, concerns have been raised on errors in the manufacturing process and certain typical situations that could expose the cyclist to crash or injury. One recent concern was from the Consumer Product Safety Commission ( CPSC ), which cautioned the public about the possible safety hazards of bikes made from carbon fiber components. When carbon has to take the place of steel or aluminum, it’s crucial that standards are strictl...
